Do you know any individuals or organisations that are making a real difference in our community?

Now is the time to put pen to paper or jump online to submit a nomination for the 2017 Mount Alexander Shire Australia Day Awards.

The awards aim to recognise those who make a valuable contribution to the shire in four categories:
· Citizen of the Year
· Young Citizen of the Year
· Senior Citizen of the Year
· Community Event of the Year

Nomination forms are available from the Civic Centre, Visitor Information Centres and via www.mountalexander.vic.gov.au/AustraliaDay.

Nominations close at 5.00pm on Monday 28 November 2016.

Go on and have your say by making a nomination today. The winners will be announced on Thursday 26 January 2017 at the Mount Alexander Shire Australia Day celebration at Victory Park in Castlemaine.
